Job summary

GE Vernova's Power Conversion & Storage division is seeking an Electrical CAD Design Engineer to deliver electrical design solutions for upgrade, retrofit and life-extension of marine, naval and power generation systems.

You will produce circuit diagrams and 2D layouts in E-Plan and AutoCAD, manage BoMs in Siemens Teamcenter, address obsolescence, and support projects through manufacturing, testing and delivery in cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Proven experience in electrical design engineering.
• Experience across service, retrofit or sustaining engineering.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical design packages for service and upgrade projects using E-Plan and AutoCAD for upgrade, retrofit, refurbishment and engineering change programmes.
• Define upgrade scope, address obsolescence and improve maintainability and manufacturability.
• Manage BoMs and parts in the Siemens Teamcenter PLM system; support procurement activities.
• Act as engineering contact across manufacturing, sourcing, service and test teams; participate in FAT, validation and commissioning.
• Drive design quality through cross-functional reviews ensuring robust, cost-effective designs.
