Job summary

GE Vernova’s Marine Power Test Facility (MPTF) in Leicester requires an Electro-Mechanical CAD Designer to produce 2D/3D drawings for electro-mechanical installations and support multiple engineering projects. You will use Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD to deliver circuit diagrams, cable schedules, piping, and structural layouts in a regulated environment.

Collaboration with Systems Engineering and field teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to produce 2D/3D CAD drawings for electro‑mechanical installations.
• Experience creating electrical and mechanical drawings (cable schedules, piping, structural layouts).
• Understanding of relevant standards and regulations in a regulated engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain 2D/3D drawings for electro‑mechanical installations at the Marine Power Test Facility (MPTF).
• Develop detailed designs to specifications, standards and regulations.
• Review drawings for accuracy and support engineering colleagues on projects.
