Job summary

Vertical Recruitment Limited is seeking an Associate/Associate Director in Electrical Building Services to lead the Liverpool team. You will guide technical delivery, manage major projects and collaborate with clients, architects and engineers to shape designs and outcomes.

The role combines leadership with ongoing hands-on engineering, supporting professional development and delivering high-profile projects across the built environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status through IET, CIBSE or another professional institution.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Electrical Building Services team in Liverpool, providing technical direction and mentoring.
• Oversee electrical design and delivery of major multidisciplinary projects from concept to completion.
• Provide senior technical input across electrical building services, ensuring designs meet requirements and sustainability objectives.
• Work with clients, architects and other disciplines to develop coordinated designs.
• Manage project resources, programmes and commercial performance.
