Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd seeks a Senior Electrical Services Engineer to support Scotland-based projects, predominantly from home, with occasional travel to Newcastle for meetings. You will deliver electrical building services and power distribution design across varied schemes and major clients, with an emphasis on high-quality technical delivery.

The ideal candidate will have an electrical engineering degree and solid experience in building services, plus strong communication and stakeholder

Qualifications

• A degree or recognised academic qualification in an electrical engineering discipline, or progressed through the practical route with recognised qualifications.
• Strong experience within electrical building services design.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to contribute confidently to technical and client meetings.
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation, standards, regulations and industry guidance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality electrical building services and power distribution design.
• Produce schematics, drawings, diagrams and models.
• Prepare specifications and technical documentation.
• Work closely with clients, contractors, project teams and other stakeholders.
• Provide technical input at project and client meetings.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Apply relevant legislation, standards, regulations and industry best practice.
