Job summary

MWH Treatment Limited is seeking a Principal EICA Engineer to join our engineering team at Maple Lodge, Rickmansworth. This role involves providing superior quality Engineering Design services, coordinating designs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of water treatment principles, experience in managing staff, and hold Chartered Engineer status. The position offers hybrid working options and requires regular site attendance.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of water and sewage treatment principles.
• Experience managing staff in water treatment design.
• Full Membership of a professional institution as a Chartered Engineer.
• Ability to rationalize designs and produce economic layouts.
• General knowledge of mechanical, process, electrical engineering and project management.

Responsibilities

• Produce cost-effective design layouts meeting specification requirements.
• Ensure design processes are coordinated for the benefit of the contract.
• Maintain files and records throughout the duration of contracts.
• Assist in developing and monitoring department procedures.
• Ensure designs account for health and safety and environmental issues.
