MWH Treatment seeks a Senior EICA Engineer for Maple Lodge or Hampton, with hybrid working and regular site attendance. You will deliver EICA/Electrical design, coordinate multi-discipline design work, and ensure H&S compliance across turnkey projects.
The role requires leadership of design teams and adherence to company processes. Essential background includes understanding electrical systems, water and sewage treatment, and Chartered Engineer status or progress toward chartership.
We arelooking to strengthen our engineering team with a Senior EICA Engineerbased at Maple Lodge or Hampton, hybrid working available with an expectation to attend sites on a regular basis.
You will report directly to the RDL and your role will be toprovide superior quality EICA/Electrical Engineering Design services to allow the company to minimise risks and maximise profits on turnkey and engineering services contracts. You will co-ordinate the design and produce design documents and drawings taking due account of health and safety requirements, specifications and standards pertaining to the contract.
EssentialUnderstanding of electrical systems.Understand the principles of water and sewage treatment.Have experience of managing members of staff in designing relevant discipline aspects of water and sewage treatment plantsFull Membership of a professional institution, chartered or nearing chartership.Preferable: - relevant discipline Engineering degreeMinimum:- relevant discipline Engineering HND with extensive suitable experience.Ability to rationalise designs and produce economic plant layoutsGood general knowledge of all aspects of water treatment, e.g. mechanical engineering, process engineering, electrical engineering and project managementA flexible mind, with the ability to assimilate large amounts of different data at one timeAbility to present technical proposals clearly, confidently and convincinglyComputer literacyDriving licenseDesirable:Chartered Engineer status.Relevant Engineering Master's Degree
