Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior/Principal Consultant to lead environmental consents for aviation projects from planning through EIA and DCO processes, across the UK. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage proposals, and build client relationships within a hybrid working framework.

You will drive delivery of complex environmental inputs, engage with stakeholders, and contribute to strategic planning and environmental management across landmark aviation schemes.

Qualifications

• Relevant environmental degree with EIA focus.
• Experience delivering EIA for aviation schemes under UK planning regimes.
• Ability to coordinate across technical teams, clients and stakeholders.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Experience leading bids and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of environmental inputs into aviation projects including planning applications and EIA.
• Support DCO examinations and planning inquiries.
• Coordinate environmental surveys and studies with H&S compliance.
• Manage bids, proposals and strategic bid preparation.
• Mentor junior colleagues and promote inclusive culture.
