Job summary

Climate17 seeks a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to lead HV maintenance, commissioning and project delivery across UK private and utility networks. The role requires hands‑on SAP experience at 11kV with exposure to higher voltages, and coordination of protection works and safety documentation.

The successful candidate will operate across DNO/IDNO networks, organise scopes, and ensure safety, outages and resourcing are managed to meet client requirements.

Qualifications

• HV SAP experience required for OHL/UG and DNO projects.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and supervise high‑voltage maintenance and commissioning.
• Authorisation status at 11kV and familiarity with UK utility practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, protection, installation and commissioning for HV networks.
• Coordinate scopes of work across DNO/IDNO or private networks from LV to 33kV.
• Ensure shutdown procedures are understood and agreed with clients.
• Issue safety documents for HV OHL/UG networks and switchgear.
• Manage labour, tools and equipment; standby for fault responses.
