Job summary

Catalent in Swindon seeks an experienced Senior EH&S Lead to drive a safe, compliant, and sustainable working environment. You will guide site leadership and staff, implement and improve EHS systems, and influence safety culture and risk management across the site.

The role involves leading investigations, audits, training, and performance analysis to support continuous improvement and regulatory compliance in a 100% onsite facility.

Qualifications

• Significant EHS experience in a regulated manufacturing/pharma environment.
• Proven track record in practical risk reduction and compliance improvements.
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong knowledge of UK health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Experience with incident investigations, root cause analysis and audits.
• Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert EHS guidance to managers and staff on safety and compliance.
• Continuously improve EHS management systems, standards and programs.
• Lead risk assessments including COSHH, machinery, manual handling and change.
• Lead investigations into accidents and near misses with corrective actions.
• Carry out EHS audits, inspections and compliance reviews and report findings.
• Deliver EHS training, inductions and toolbox talks with records.
• Monitor EHS performance, analyse trends and report to site leadership.
• Support environmental compliance and emergency preparedness across the site.
