Job summary

Accenture Construct seeks an experienced HSE professional to lead policy development, risk assessments and audits for pharmaceutical manufacturing environments onsite with client operations. You will partner with engineering, operations and quality teams to embed safety into capital projects and day-to-day activities.

The role requires 6+ years in manufacturing HSE, 3+ years in life sciences, and credentials such as NEBOSH or CSP preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of HSE experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in life sciences/pharma environments.
• Certifications such as NEBOSH, CSP, or similar preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ISO 45001/14001, GMP, FDA, and EMA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies aligned with OSHA, EPA, ISO 45001/14001, GMP, FDA, and EMA requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and site safety audits focused on chemical handling and cleanrooms.
• Lead incident investigations for accidents, near misses, spills, and exposures, driving CAPAs.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness programs, drills, and regulatory compliance.
• Deliver HSE training on PPE, LOTO, chemical hygiene, and environmental regulations.
• Partner with engineering, operations, quality, and maintenance to embed HSE into design and operations.
• Manage environmental compliance programs related to emissions, waste, permits, and sustainability.
