Job summary

DePuy Synthes Leeds is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead Environmental Health, Safety and Sustainability at the site. You will direct EHS programs, manage one direct report, and partner with the Site Leadership Team to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement across operations.

The role requires 10+ years in EH&S, NEBOSH qualifications, and strong project leadership. On-site work is mandatory with limited travel and a focus on ISO 14001 maintenance and safety excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 10+ years of EH&S experience.
• NEBOSH Certificate required. NEBOSH Diploma preferred.
• Medical device manufacturing or related regulated industry experience.
• Strong regulatory knowledge across federal, state and local levels.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Plant Manager to ensure EHS&S compliance.
• Develop site EHS&S objectives and dashboards for management review.
• Lead EHS&S professionals and coaching plans; support succession and salary planning.
• Monitor EH&S risks and drive continuous improvement of EHS&S programs.
• Maintain ISO 14001 certification and aligned EHS management systems.
