GS2 | B Corp™ seeks a pragmatic EHS leader to shape governance across a £23M, state-of-the-art manufacturing site. You will sit on the Senior Leadership Team to direct health, safety, environmental, and decarbonization strategies with two direct reports.

Lead ISO 14001/45001, EcoVadis Platinum initiatives, and risk governance while partnering with HSE and regulatory bodies to sustain a best-in-class safety culture.

Formación

• Level 6 Occupational Health & Safety qualification required.
• CMIOSH status considered essential.
• 5+ years leading EHS in high-risk engineering or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Authentic, collaborative leadership and ability to drive engagement without bureaucracy.
• On-site presence with flexibility for 24/5 shift patterns and a strong benefits package.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee site EHS&S strategies, legal compliance, ISO 14001 / ISO 45001, and EcoVadis Platinum initiatives.
• Lead high-risk safety governance including DSEAR compliance, PUWER upgrades, and risk assessments.
• Act as liaison with regulatory bodies (HSE, Environment Agency) and Group stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor operational teams to foster a proactive, zero-harm culture.

Joining a global, industry-leading engineering parent group, you will sit on the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to lead site health, safety, environmental, and decarbonization strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Key Requirements

• Qualifications: Level 6 Occupational Health & Safety qualification and CMIOSH status (essential).
• Experience: 5+ years leading EHS in high-risk engineering or regulated manufacturing (DSEAR, PUWER, clean/GMP, or chemical environments).
• Leadership Style: Authentic, collaborative, and pragmatic team player who builds genuine engagement without corporate bureaucracy.
• Flexibility: On-site presence supporting 24/5 shift patterns as required.
