Job summary

Central Employment is recruiting a Senior eCommerce Trading Merchandiser for a growing SME FMCG retailer focused on expanding online sales.

The role centres on turning data into revenue, managing stock visibility, forecasting, and influencing trading decisions that impact online profitability. You will collaborate with Buying, Supply Chain and Marketing to optimise conversions and performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in eCommerce trading or merchandising
• Experience in an FMCG/retail environment
• Strong understanding of eCommerce trading principles and online merchandising
• Proven ability to translate data into commercial actions

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly online trading performance against KPIs.
• Produce reports and dashboards covering sales, conversion, traffic and stock.
• Analyse product/category performance to identify growth opportunities.
• Lead seasonal forecasting and trading planning with Buying and Supply Chain teams.
• Collaborate with Marketing to align campaigns with trading priorities and stock availability.
