Job summary

Digital Gurus is recruiting a Digital Trading Executive for a well-known high street retailer. The role sits in the Ecommerce team, focusing on day-to-day trading and merchandising across the online offer to drive sales, margin and conversions.

Based in central London with a 2 days a week on-site pattern, you will work closely with Digital Marketing and Buying to turn data into opportunities and deliver a best-in-class online shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in ecommerce or digital trading in retail.
• Strong commercial awareness with trading principles.
• Analytical mindset using BI tools, MS Office and Google Sheets.
• Experience with ecommerce platforms and CMS tools.
• Familiarity with GA4 plus SEO and paid channels.

Responsibilities

• Monitor sales, revenue, conversion, traffic, AOV and KPIs.
• Execute online merchandising: placement, categorisation, sort orders and promos.
• Keep product data accurate across categories: pricing, imagery, stock.
• Support promotions, product launches and seasonal trading activity.
• Collaborate with Buying/Merchandising to align online priorities.
• Align trading with Marketing across CRM, paid media and social.
• Support homepage and onsite page builds with suppliers and design teams.
• Run competitor and market analysis on range, pricing, megamenu, promotions.
• Support A/B testing, CRO and SEO initiatives.
• Produce regular trading reports for stakeholders.
