Job summary

Tetra Tech Europe is seeking a Senior Ecologist to manage a portfolio of ecological projects across various sectors, including renewable energy and infrastructure. The role involves delivering high-quality ecological output in line with UK legislation and client expectations. Qualified candidates should possess strong technical capabilities along with project management experience.

You will engage with clients and stakeholders, manage multiple projects, and support junior colleagues. A degree in Ecology and knowledge of UK environmental legislation are required, alongside a valid UK driving license.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of UK planning system and environmental legislation.
• Competent in UK Habitat Classification and habitat condition assessments.
• Ability to design and complete a range of ecological surveys.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of ecological projects across sectors.
• Deliver ecological assessments, surveys, and reports.
