Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Ecologist or Senior Ecologist to join our growing Ecology Team in the UK. You will work on diverse projects, conducting surveys and mitigation planning, and collaborating with water utility partners and new opportunities.

In the senior role, you will mentor junior ecologists, manage projects and client relations, and travel as required with a UK driving licence. A collaborative, development-focused environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Minimum BSc in Ecology or related environmental discipline.
• Solid consultancy experience with UK/EU wildlife legislation.
• Skilled in preparing PEAs, ECIAs and ecological chapters.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys and assessments and design mitigation measures.
• Apply for and obtain protected species licences.
• Contribute ecological input to multidisciplinary teams.
