Job summary

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Highly Specialised Cardiac Physiologist for Echocardiography in Crewe. Band 7, permanent, 30 hours weekly. You will perform and report adult echocardiograms to BSE standards, including bubble/contrast echo when required, and participate in weekend/evening duties.

The role supports a Cardio-Respiratory team across Leighton Hospital and Northwich Victoria site, with rotating duties and opportunities to expand the Physiologist-led clinics.

Qualifications

• Degree in Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) or equivalent.
• BSE accreditation is required.
• ILS-certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report transthoracic echocardiography to BSE standards.
• Interpret and generate reports for investigations.
• Support advanced imaging techniques such as contrast and bubble studies.
• Lead and support junior team members and clinics.
