Job summary

InHealth Group Limited is seeking a Chief Cardiac Physiologist or Echocardiographer to lead the Greater Manchester Echo team, covering South East Manchester and Salford with occasional Liverpool work. You will mentor trainees and support the Education program while contributing to clinical audits and frameworks.

40 hours weekly, with some weekend work and flexible shifts. The role requires performing and reporting adult transthoracic echocardiograms to BSE standards, providing expert guidance,

Qualifications

• Experience performing adult transthoracic echocardiograms to BSE standards.
• Holds BSE or equivalent qualification.
• Full UK driving license required.
• Understanding of Data Protection Act and governance requirements.
• Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).
• Willingness to adopt new thinking and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report adult transthoracic echocardiograms and reports per BSE guidelines.
• Provide expert clinical guidance via second opinion rota and peer-review adherence.
• Ensure quality assurance checks on equipment and take action as needed.
• Submit reports and archive study images per contractual and SOPs.
• Coordinate with hospital departments and GP practices for referrals.
• Assist with patient bookings and maintain information systems.
