Job summary

Exolum is seeking an EC&I Technician to safeguard the safe, reliable operation of terminal and pipeline assets at Hallen. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, control and instrumentation systems and diagnose faults across SCADA, DCS and PLC networks.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, utilities, oil & gas, energy, fuel storage or COMAH/high-hazard environments.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience working with SCADA, DCS and PLC systems.
• Knowledge of instrumentation, calibration and inspection activities.
• Understanding of hazardous area equipment and safety-critical systems.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, control and instrumentation systems.
• Support plant operations and maximise equipment availability.
• Diagnose and repair faults on SCADA, DCS and PLC systems.
• Undertake instrumentation fault finding, repair, testing and calibration.
• Inspect and test SIL/SIF systems and hazardous area equipment.
• Ensure maintenance activities are planned, documented and completed safely.
• Collaborate with contractors and stakeholders on maintenance projects.
• Support continuous improvement and procedure development.
