Job summary
Veolia is seeking an experienced EC&I Technician at Chilton Power Station to perform repairs, calibration and maintenance on process monitoring and PLC/DCS systems. The role requires hands-on problem solving and ensuring equipment reliability.
You will work with operations staff, supervise contractors, maintain records in the Asset Management System, and support HSE procedures. Regular weekend work and on-call out of hours may be required, with a strong commitment to safety and continuous
Qualifications
- Qualified with HNC or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience: minimum 3 years in a continuous process industry.
- Strong communication, self-motivated with flexibility for on-site hours.
Responsibilities
- Carry out repairs, calibration, and maintenance on plant and equipment.
- Maintain records of EC&I equipment using Asset Management System.
- Diagnose plant defects and implement improvements.
- Supervise contractors and ensure safe working practices.
- Support health, safety and environmental procedures.
- Liaise with operations and maintenance teams.
