Job summary

Assystem UK Ltd seeks an Engineering Manager for the Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation (EC&I) department to drive the design and delivery of cutting-edge SMR nuclear power projects. You will coordinate EC&I projects and oversee systems vital to nuclear safety.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, applying project planning expertise to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while meeting strict safety and security requirements.

Qualifications

• EC&I design and management experience
• Familiarity with highly regulated industries and lifecycle stages
• Strong leadership skills and ability to drive complex projects

Responsibilities

• Develop EC&I technical programmes covering the lifecycle of products.
• Plan tasks with dependencies and manage cross-area interfaces.
• Foster collaboration across work areas to deliver integrated solutions.
• Monitor scope, risks and budgets for EC&I programmes.
• Identify resource gaps and support CDE in resourcing decisions.
• Help establish and maintain budgets for EC&I programmes.
• Track budgets, forecast, and monitor costs vs projections.
• Manage programme risks (threats and opportunities).
• Oversee and optimize contract staff allocation.
