Job summary

Assystem is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation (EC&I) team to lead the design and delivery of SMR nuclear power projects. You will coordinate across EC&I disciplines, manage complex safety‑critical programmes, and ensure on‑time, on‑budget execution with strong stakeholder collaboration.

You will apply your technical EC&I background and people leadership to drive program planning, resource alignment, and risk management in a highly regulated

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering; advanced degrees a plus.
• Proven leadership of teams and complex, safety-critical programmes.
• Experience in highly regulated industries and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Develop EC&I technical programmes across the product lifecycle.
• Plan tasks with dependencies and ensure timely delivery.
• Foster cross‑functional collaboration for integrated solutions.
• Monitor and adjust programme scope as needed.
• Support Chief Design Engineer with resource planning and budgeting.
• Track budgets, forecast costs, and monitor variances.
• Identify risks and opportunities and implement mitigations.
• Oversee contract staff allocation and performance management.
