Job summary

Rolls-Royce in the UK is seeking an Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineer (EC&I) to lead EC&I activities for Ultimate Diesel Generators at the EDF Hinkley Point C site and related naval submarine projects. The role requires comprehensive EC&I knowledge, site leadership, and strict adherence to health & safety standards.

You will work with the Engineering team on build, start-up and testing, ensuring correct installation, testing and documentation are completed to project standards,

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC in Electrical/Electronic engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with switchgear, transformers, motors, generators and PLCs.
• Knowledge of health, safety and CDM regulations on site.
• SC clearance or ability to obtain security clearance.
• UK nationality required due to security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Act as Technical Lead and RR CN UK site representative during build, start-up and testing.
• Lead EC&I commissioning and testing activities.
• Guide installer on EC&I matters and regulatory requirements.
• Create documentation, standards and pass/fail criteria for testing/acceptance.
• Provide progress updates to Project Manager and include in meetings.
