Job summary

Highfield Professional Solutions Ltd is seeking an EC&I Senior Engineer for a major UK defence-infrastructure programme at Devonport Royal Dockyard in Plymouth. The role is hybrid with 3 days on site, supporting submarine and warship programmes as part of the Submarine Defuel Delivery Project.

The successful candidate will deliver EC&I activities, support the Design Manager, and manage as-built documentation and site surveys on a high-profile project with stringent safety and quality controls.

Qualifications

• Proven EC&I Engineer experience in the nuclear sector.
• Experience designing and developing EC&I systems.
• Strong as-built engineering experience incl. site surveys and updating drawings.
• Experience developing and reviewing technical design documentation.
• Understanding of safety and quality procedures in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver EC&I engineering activities to scope, schedule and cost.
• Support the Design Manager in EC&I work packages.
• Develop and update drawings from detailed design to as-built.
• Undertake EC&I inspections and site surveys.
• Produce and review technical design documentation and records.
• Maintain configuration, quality and document controls.
