Job summary

Cabot Corporation seeks a Senior EC&I Engineer to lead the reliability, safety, and performance of electrical, control and instrumentation systems at our site in Barry, UK. You will drive maintenance strategies, support capital projects, and ensure compliance with regulatory and site standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with significant experience in industrial maintenance.
• Experience in engineering and maintenance roles within a related industry.

Responsibilities

• Owns and maintains site electrical infrastructure including 11kV, 415V and instrumentation.
• Leads safety initiatives and ensures compliance with SH&E requirements.
• Manages budgets for Electrical & Instrumentation maintenance and shutdowns.
• Provides project management for small capital projects and works with contract resources.
• Audits electrical contractors and safe work permit processes (SWP).
• Drives continuous improvement in equipment reliability and maintenance performance.
