Job summary
Morgan Ryder Associates are recruiting for a skilled Electrical, Control, Instrumentation & Automation Engineer for a global manufacturer at a state-of-the-art facility in Liverpool. You will lead automation upgrades, system integration projects and continuous improvement across a highly automated production environment.
The role requires strong knowledge of industrial automation, PLC/SCADA and instrumentation, with a track record in manufacturing settings.
Qualifications
- Experience in industrial automation within manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of instrumentation and process control systems.
- Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and automation upgrades.
- Mentoring or coaching EC&I technicians is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead automation upgrades and integration projects across a highly automated production environment.
- Support PLC, HMI, SCADA and control systems across the operation.
- Drive continuous improvement and optimisation of automated equipment.
- Provide fault analysis and root-cause determination for complex plant issues.
- Collaborate with suppliers, integrators and engineering partners.
- Mentor EC&I Technicians and support technical development across the team.
