Job summary

Morgan Ryder Associates is seeking an Electrical, Control, Instrumentation & Automation Engineer for a major manufacturing facility in the UK. You will lead automation upgrades across a highly automated operation, integrating new technologies and robotics, and working alongside Engineering, Production and Maintenance teams.

You will develop PLC, HMI, SCADA and control systems, drive continuous improvement, and provide root-cause analysis for complex plant issues, ensuring reliability and

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of industrial automation and control systems in manufacturing.
Experience working with PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment.
Knowledge of instrumentation, process control and industrial electrical systems.
Experience supporting automated production lines and robotic systems.

Responsibilities

Lead automation upgrades and system integration across a highly automated production environment.
Develop and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, SCADA and control systems.
Drive continuous improvement and optimisation of automated equipment.
Provide fault diagnosis and root cause analysis for complex plant issues.
Collaborate with suppliers, integrators and engineering partners.
Mentor EC&I Technicians and support technical development.
