Happy Days Nurseries is seeking an Early Years Senior Supervisor at Boorley Green Nursery to lead a room team, deliver high-quality care and EYFS-aligned learning, and support children's development and wellbeing. The role emphasizes safeguarding, collaboration with families, and ongoing leadership development within a supportive, growth-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent.
• Supervisory experience within an Early Years setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding, and childcare legislation.
• Paediatric First Aid and Level 2 Safeguarding (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
• Proactive, team-focused approach with a passion for developing children and colleagues.
• Confidence in audits, room improvements, and maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a room team to deliver outstanding care and education
• Deliver engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS
• Support children’s individual development, wellbeing, and progress
• Build strong relationships with families, colleagues, and external agencies
• Monitor planning, assessments, and room standards to ensure quality outcomes
• Coach, mentor, and develop colleagues through inductions, supervisions, and day-to-day support
• Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and compliance standards are consistently maintained
