Job summary

Happy Days Nurseries Limited in Watford seeks an experienced Early Years Supervisor to lead and develop their room team, delivering high-quality, child-centred care and education within a supportive, inclusive environment.

You will play a pivotal role in modeling best practices under EYFS, coaching staff, and driving continuous improvement across safeguarding, wellbeing and learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent.
• Previous supervisory experience within an Early Years setting.
• Paediatric First Aid and Level 2 Safeguarding, or a willingness to obtain these.
• Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support your room team to deliver outstanding care and education.
• Plan and deliver engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework.
• Support children's individual development, wellbeing and progress.
• Build strong, professional relationships with children, families, colleagues and external agencies.
• Monitor planning, assessments and room standards to promote positive outcomes.
• Coach, mentor and support colleagues through inductions, supervisions and day-to-day guidance.
