Placements24 is seeking a senior E-commerce Social Media & Content Lead to guide digital communication for an online retailer. The role is hybrid, leading a small team, shaping content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and more, while driving brand awareness, engagement and revenue growth.

With 5+ years in social media management and content strategy for ecommerce, you will implement the strategy, manage calendars, lead content creation, and optimize paid campaigns.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in social media management and content strategy for ecommerce
• Proven leadership experience
• Proficiency with content creation tools, social media platforms and analytics
• Exceptional copywriting and visual storytelling skills
• Understanding of social media algorithms and performance marketing
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field (or equivalent expertise)

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage a comprehensive social media and content strategy aligned with ecommerce objectives and brand guidelines
• Lead creation of high-impact content across formats (visuals, video, copy) for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok
• Oversee social media content calendar ensuring consistent brand voice and timely publication
• Manage and optimize paid social campaigns to achieve target ROI and KPIs
• Analyze performance data, identify trends and provide strategic recommendations
• Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative, high-performing environment
