Job summary

Conrad Consulting Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Drainage Engineer for a full-time role based in Bristol. The successful candidate will lead drainage schemes, develop strategies and manage delivery for development infrastructure.

You will work closely with clients and authorities, prepare FRA and drainage strategy reports, and mentor junior team members. Chartered or near Chartered status with at least 6 years UK drainage design experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Chartered or near Chartered engineer with at least 6 years' UK drainage design experience for development infrastructure.
• Strong communication, software proficiency and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop drainage strategies.
• Lead schemes and manage design, delivery and meeting deadlines.
• Prepare FRA’s and Drainage Strategy reports.
• Produce hydraulic modelling and drainage design using relevant software such as Causeway Flow.
• Produce technical drawings and specifications.
• Prepare fee proposals and monitor budgets.

Our client is an established employee owned firm based in Bristol who are currently seeking a senior drainage engineer to join them on a full time permanent basis.

They have an excellent reputation for successful project delivery and pride themselves in repeat business from clients.

Their senior engineer will need to be experienced in leading schemes and be responsible for design, management and delivery of drainage strategies, working closely with clients and relevant authorities.

Duties:

• Develop drainage strategies
• Prepare FRA’s and Drainage Strategy reports
• Produce hydraulic modelling and drainage design using relevant software et Causeway Flow
• Produce technical drawings and specifications
• Prepare fee proposals and monitor deadlines and budget
• Assist junior team members with their work and progression

Our client ideally requires a Chartered or near Chartered engineer who has at least 6 years’ UK experience in drainage design for development infrastructure.

Strong communication, software proficiency and excellent analytical abilities will win you this role.
