Qualifications

This permanent Senior Civil Engineer position in Bristol offers a salary of £40,000 to £60,000 per annum. Joining a respected consultancy, you will deliver drainage, infrastructure, and highway design across residential, industrial, and commercial schemes. Your duties include running projects, managing client relationships, and producing detailed designs, with work involving S278, S38, and S104 agreements. You will also liaise directly with local authorities. The role suits a degree-qualified engineer with relevant experience, capable of working independently within a specialist team. This is a full-time position based in the Bristol office, offering scope for professional growth and project ownership.

What you’ll be doing

You would focus on a mixture of drainage, infrastructure, and highway design on a range of projects, from residential, industrial units, commercial and more. You would have scope to run your own projects and manage clients whilst upkeeping detailed design. This would include working with S278, S38 and S104 and liaising with clients and local authorities.

Who you’ll be

• Has a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Solid design experience at a consultancy
• Experience in managing a team and taking the lead on projects.
