Job summary

ICE Recruit is seeking a Chartered Senior Drainage Engineer to join a growing consultancy on the outskirts of Birmingham. You will lead drainage and highways design, contribute to planning submissions and manage a varied portfolio of retail, commercial, business park and industrial developments.

You will be experienced in drainage design and confident using PDS, Civil 3D and MicroDrainage, with strong communication and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer status
• Strong experience in drainage design, ground modelling and external works
• Proficiency in PDS, Civil 3D and MicroDrainage
• Experience delivering commercial, retail or industrial developments
• Knowledge of highways Section Agreements and Flood Risk Assessments
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership of projects

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Chartered Senior Drainage Engineer to join a growing engineering consultancy on the outskirts of Birmingham.

With a strong pipeline of work, the role offers the chance to take a leading role in the delivery of drainage, highways, ground modelling and external works across a diverse portfolio of retail, commercial, business park and industrial developments.

The successful candidate will be experienced in drainage design and confident using PDS, Civil 3D and MicroDrainage. Responsibilities will include leading drainage and highways design, contributing to planning submissions and preparing associated technical and legal documentation.

Experience with highways Section Agreements and Flood Risk Assessments would be highly advantageous, along with the ability to manage projects and provide technical guidance to more junior engineers.
