Job summary

ICE Recruit is seeking a Senior Drainage Engineer for a Bristol-based, full-time permanent role. The candidate should be Chartered or near Chartered with 6+ years UK drainage experience and will lead schemes, design drainage strategies, and liaise with clients and authorities.

The role covers hydro-draulic modelling, technical drawings, and fee proposals, with hybrid working (1 day remote) and generous benefits including private medical and annual leave. The salary is £47k–£52k plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Chartered or near Chartered engineer with UK drainage design experience (6+ years).
• Strong communication and analytical abilities.
• Experience leading schemes and delivering drainage strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop drainage strategies.
• Prepare FRA's and drainage strategy reports.
• Produce hydraulic modelling and drainage design using relevant software including Causeway Flow.
• Produce technical drawings and specifications.
• Prepare fee proposals and monitor deadlines and budget.
• Assist junior team members with their work and progression.
