Job summary

SmartSourcing Ltd is seeking a client-side Document Controller to support Strategic Estates across a capital portfolio valued at over £2bn, with extensive experience in document management for high-value refurbishment projects.

The role is long-term, paying up to £625 a day inside IR35, hybrid in London with 2 days per week on site. You will manage project information and document control across multiple teams, ensuring accuracy, security and compliance throughout the life cycle.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience managing information on major projects.
• 3-5 years' experience with ISO 19650 BIM standards for information management.
• Experience with ISO BIM workflows, revisions and status codes.
• Strong experience using SharePoint and Aconex.
• Experience in client-side document control or information management for major construction/refurbishment projects.
• Strong stakeholder and supply chain coordination skills.
• Experience managing sensitive or security-classified information.
• Knowledge of RIBA 2020 and BSRIA BG6.

Responsibilities

• Provide client-side information management and document control across Strategic Estates project teams, ensuring information is accurate, secure and compliant throughout the life cycle.
• Support information management compliance across all RIBA stages and ensure supply chain information aligns with BIM standards, security protocols and the approved Common Data Environment.
