AECOM in the Northwest is seeking an Associate Director to lead transport planning and development initiatives. You will drive client engagement, project delivery, and business growth while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams across Streets and Technology, Highways, Aviation, Ports, Rail, Energy and Environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and securing bids for major schemes, with a focus on delivering sustainable and innovative solutions for public and private sector

Qualifications

• Degree required or equivalent in a related field.
• Membership in professional bodies (CIHT/TPS) preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in transport planning, with a proven track record in leading teams and winning work.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of UK&I transport planning principles and regulations.
