Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Senior Director, Business Technology Strategy to act as the primary liaison between Pfizer’s business divisions and Digital, strategically aligning divisional technology needs with eight Digital Core Platforms and standards.

The role leads Director-level Technical Specialists and ensures programs reinforce the enterprise platform strategy while delivering faster, safer, and more reusable digital capabilities at global scale.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of leadership experience in technology strategy or large-scale programs.
• Experience aligning business-division needs with enterprise platforms and standards.
• Proven ability to lead and develop senior technical talent.
• Experience advising senior business and Digital leaders on direction and priorities.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud, data, security, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Business Division Liaison: primary liaison between business divisions and Digital, translating priorities into aligned tech direction.
• Platform and Standards Alignment: align divisional needs to the eight Digital Core Platforms and digital standards.
• Divisional Program and Project Alignment: ensure divisional efforts align with enterprise platforms from outset.
• Technical Specialist Team Leadership: oversee and develop Director-level specialists across divisions.
• Architecture Review Board Leadership: chair or co-lead ARB reviews ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.
• Leadership, Communication, and Organization: provide clear direction and coordinate work across divisions.
• Governance and Delivery Assurance: uphold digital standards, reliability, security, and documentation across portfolio.
