Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Senior Director to lead and connect the company’s most strategic technology initiatives with eight Digital Core Platforms. You will oversee a team of Senior Technical Architects and own a connected strategy for ELT-level AI programs, delivering coherent results across the platform landscape.

This role requires senior leadership, exceptional communication, and the ability to orchestrate complex programs, establish governance, and drive high-impact outcomes at global scale

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, with 12+ years leadership experience.
• Experience leading technology strategy and delivery of multiple programs, connecting them coherently.
• Proven ability to lead and develop senior technical talent.
• Experience advising senior leaders on technology direction, priorities, trade-offs, outcomes.
• Strong understanding of modern engineering practices, cloud, data, AI-enabled delivery, security, governance.

Responsibilities

• Own the connected technology strategy across strategic initiatives and eight Digital Core Platforms.
• Ensure reuse and alignment with the platform architecture standards.
• Lead ELT-level AI programs with clear ownership and measurable outcomes.
• Oversee Senior Technical Architects and maintain architecture quality.
• Define governance, reliability, security, and delivery assurance across initiatives.
• Foster leadership, communication, and inclusive team culture.
