Job summary

Jacobs is recruiting for a senior leader to own the technical delivery strategy across highways, rail, aviation and related infrastructure programmes in the UK. You will coordinate multiple engineering disciplines, manage interfaces and risks, and ensure designs meet programme, budget, quality and client expectations.

You will influence design delivery, champion innovation, and help grow the transportation business.

Qualifications

• Experience leading the delivery of complex multidisciplinary infrastructure projects or programmes.
• Strong understanding of engineering design delivery, programme risks, technical governance and stakeholder management.
• Ability to lead and influence multidisciplinary teams across large and complex environments.
• Experience building trusted relationships with clients, project partners and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and decision‑making skills.
• A background in transportation, infrastructure, engineering, construction or a related project environment.
• Applicants with Design & Build and/or major asset renewal experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery strategy across disciplines, coordinating interfaces, risks and constraints for multiple projects.
• Provide leadership and judgement to navigate complex challenges and maintain delivery momentum.
• Influence design management across the wider business, championing innovation and digital delivery.
• Support talent development and strengthen client relationships to grow transportation business.
• Deliver high‑performing engineering solutions that create lasting value for communities and infrastructure owners.
