Job summary

Airbus Belfast Limited is seeking an experienced professional for Dimensional Management within the Belfast wing facility. You will apply advanced tolerancing solutions and 1D/3D stack-up analyses to support design from concept through production, balancing performance with manufacturability.

Collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality, you will deliver robust dimensional solutions, mentor junior designers and drive continuous improvements in a global aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum HNC in Engineering or related subject and at least 3 years’ engineering design experience focused on Dimensional Management.
• Ability to work as part of a team at site and group level; strong analytical problem solving.
• Knowledge of ISO Tolerances annotation, 1D/3D stack-up analysis, MECAMASTER/3DCS toolsets.
• Experience with metallic and composite structures is essential.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced tolerancing solutions and 1D/3D stack-up analysis to balance performance and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Stress, Aerodynamics, Manufacturing and Quality to achieve production compromises.
• Coach and mentor junior design engineers and drive continuous process improvements.
