Job summary

Airbus Belfast Limited seeks a Lead Tolerancing Engineer to guide a multi-functional team across structural and systems design, ensuring designs meet DA requirements. You will drive advanced tolerancing across the Belfast wing facility, coordinating across Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality to balance performance and cost.

You will mentor staff, apply 1D/3D stack-up and utilise MECAMASTER/3DCS tools to deliver optimal production solutions, while engaging with regulators and customers as

Qualifications

Minimum a BSc/BEng degree with 3+ years of management/project responsibility.
Experience with ISO tolerances annotation and stack-up analysis is essential.
Proficient with MECAMASTER/3DCS and 1D/3D tolerance tools.

Responsibilities

Provide functional leadership to a tolerancing team and mentor staff.
Apply advanced tolerancing techniques to optimize performance and manufacturability.
Collaborate across Design, Stress, Aerodynamics, Manufacturing and Quality to balance design and production constraints.
Own engineering projects with timely, high-quality deliveries and regulatory compliance.
