Job summary

DWP Digital is seeking a Senior Digital Engagement Manager to shape the narrative for the Digital and Transformation Group, ensuring colleagues understand our purpose, priorities and ambitions, and feel connected to the work we deliver.

You'll lead engagement strategies, advise senior leaders, and craft compelling messages to build awareness, trust and support for DTG's priorities across government partners and audiences.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating high-quality content and evaluating communications or engagement activity.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement strategies that bring the DTG's story to life, helping colleagues and stakeholders understand our purpose, priorities, achievements and ambitions.
• Provide expert advice and support to help leaders communicate clearly, consistently and with impact.
• Create compelling narratives, briefings and key messages that connect people to our vision and the role they play in delivering it.
• Build strong relationships across DWP, government and delivery partners, creating meaningful opportunities to engage audiences in our work and the transformation we're delivering.
• Identify who we need to reach, understand what matters to them and develop approaches that build awareness, trust and support for DTG's priorities.
• Strengthen the comms and engagement profession, sharing expertise, encouraging collaboration and helping teams continually improve how they communicate and connect with their audiences.
