Job summary

Sky Media is the advertising arm of Sky, representing all Sky channels and third‑party brands. The Digital Sales team drives monetisation across digital ad opportunities, including video and social, with a focus on growth, campaign effectiveness and go‑to‑market strategies.

The Digital Sales Manager will lead revenue generation, pitch new opportunities, and collaborate with Sky teams to maximise digital ad revenues across web and app, in a hybrid UK office setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent sales skills.
• Experience of delivering against revenue targets.
• Significant proven experience within the digital media industry.
• A desire to understand future technologies and commercial opportunities.
• Good understanding of the media planning and buying process.
• Ability to develop relationships with key decision makers and influencers within clients and agencies.
• Ability to manage targets and to monitor and deliver against them.
• Proven experience of delivering creative solutions.
• In depth knowledge and understanding of Online media sales.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct online and programmatic revenues.
• Proactively pitch for new revenue from non-spenders and create reactive proposals.
• Develop market knowledge and sales skills in selling third party platforms.
• Deliver on-brand, high-standard sales collateral and briefs.
• Develop good working relationships with Sky Media teams to sell digital ad opportunities.
• Secure digital revenue across Sky's and partners' digital estates.
• Articulate all digital ad opportunities and oversee selling of non-spot revenues.
• Grow revenue from new and existing digital advertisers and drive multi-platform usage.
• Out-perform revenue targets by managing pipeline and forecasting.
