Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Dietitian to become Dietetic Community Service Manager. The role covers community and outpatient services with some inpatient support, reporting to the Head of Dietetics and SLT, across Coventry sites.

You will lead service development, governance, and performance against targets, with a strong focus on quality improvement and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Essential: Diploma/Degree in Dietetics with HCPC registration.
• Leadership/management qualification or training needed.
• Risk management training and CPD evidence required.
• Masters level study or equivalent experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational performance of community and outpatient dietetic services.
• Review staffing to ensure appropriate skill mix within budget.
• Represent Dietetics at Group and Trust level for planning and delivery.
• Ensure interdisciplinary working and provide professional support as needed.
• Investigate complaints and incidents and implement quality improvements.
• Manage resources to meet financial targets and budgets.
• Coordinate outpatient clinics and waiting lists across sites.
• Ensure adherence to professional, clinical and departmental standards.
