Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust (UHCW) is seeking a Dietetic Community Service Manager (Band 8a) to lead community and outpatient dietetics. The role is a 2-year fixed-term post at 30 hours per week, with secondment considered for internal candidates.

You will oversee performance, budgets, HR and quality initiatives across Coventry community services and some inpatient clinics, supported by senior clinical leadership to drive service development.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ Degree in Dietetics with HCPC registration.
• Leadership or management qualification or training.
• Experience in NHS dietetics and outpatient services.
• Evidence of CPD and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operational performance of the community and outpatient dietetic service.
• Review team establishments and allocate resources within financial constraints.
• Represent Dietetics at Group and Trust level for planning and delivery.
• Ensure interdisciplinary working and provide professional support as required.
• Investigate complaints and drive quality improvement.
