Qualifications

• Experienced Dietitian with band 7 outpatient management experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Dietetics and SLT in performance against priorities and targets.
• Develop and deliver clinical governance programmes with senior colleagues on quality initiatives.
• Interpret and implement clinical and professional policies locally.
• Manage operational performance of community and outpatient dietetic services to ensure efficient delivery of priorities.
• Review team establishments to ensure appropriate skill mix within resources.
• Represent Dietetics at group and trust level to align with plans and targets.
• Provide professional support and ensure interdisciplinary working across areas.
• Investigate complaints and incidents, implementing strategies to reduce recurrence and promote quality.
• Ensure resources are effectively managed to meet financial targets and budgets.
• Coordinate and deliver Dietetic services across hospital sites including outpatient clinics and waiting lists.
• Ensure adherence to professional, clinical and departmental standards.
