Verisk, located in the United Kingdom, is looking for an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to lead their International DevOps function. This role is key in developing automation tools and guiding CI/CD and cloud strategies, while mentoring a team of DevOps Engineers.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in AWS and relevant cloud technologies, combined with experience in highly regulated industries. Verisk offers a competitive compensation package and various benefits.

Competenze

• Extensive experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services.
• Experience in highly regulated industries like finance or insurance.

Mansioni

• Define and maintain the DevOps strategic roadmap.
• Mentor and coach DevOps Engineers.
• Ensure compliance with security practices and regulations.
• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives for product teams.

Conoscenze

AWS expertise including IAM, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS

Containerization proficiency (Kubernetes, EKS)

Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform)

Scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell)

Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Octopus Deploy)

Monitoring tools (New Relic, CloudWatch)

Strong problem-solving skills

Leadership and mentoring experience

Formazione

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field
