Job summary

NEC Software Solutions is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own cloud infrastructure and drive scalable, secure operations for national public-service systems. You will work hybrid with up to 50% office attendance, contributing to AWS-based environments, IaC, and CI/CD pipelines, while collaborating with architects and wider teams to deliver resilient services.

Qualifications

• Experience running cloud infrastructure in production on AWS; Azure is a bonus.
• Terraform/Teragrunt experience; writing reusable modules and multi-environment deployments.
• Kubernetes and ArgoCD in production context.
• Ability to write Python or Bash to automate.
• CI/CD experience with security and deployment risk considerations.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of cloud infrastructure, provisioning through day-to-day operations, in collaboration with Solutions Architect.
• Use Infrastructure as Code as the default, evolving the setup as infrastructure grows.
• Keep CI/CD pipelines fast and reliable; investigate and fix issues rather than patching.
• Monitor environments for performance, uptime, and resource usage; troubleshoot issues.
• Propose improvements; run spikes and bring ideas with a data-driven case.
