Sopra Steria Limited in London seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer - Salesforce to design, automate and operate secure cloud platforms supporting Salesforce and AWS environments. Hybrid role with 2 days in the office weekly, reporting to internal teams and security/compliance governance.

Salary ranges between £40,000 and £60,000 per annum and includes a benefits package. You will drive automation, implement secure-by-design practices and contribute to platform observability and operational resilience

Qualifications

• Strong DevOps engineering experience in complex enterprise or regulated environments.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation and IaC.
• Strong AWS cloud engineering expertise and managing cloud-hosted environments.
• Experience supporting Salesforce delivery programmes, including release management and deployment tooling.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, including security automation and vulnerability management.
• Experience with scripting, Git, automated deployments and performance optimization.

Senior DevOps Engineer - Salesforce Are you passionate about building secure, resilient cloud platforms that support critical services in highly regulated environments? As a Senior DevOps Engineer - Salesforce, you'll play a key role in designing, automating and operating the engineering capabilities that underpin a major Salesforce platform. You'll help drive DevSecOps best practice across Salesforce and AWS environments, ensuring solutions remain secure, compliant, scalable and reliable. Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you'll partner with Architects, Developers, Test Engineers and Product Owners to embed automation throughout the software delivery lifecycle, improve operational resilience, and support the delivery of business‑critical services. This is an exciting opportunity to influence engineering standards, enhance platform observability, and shape how modern cloud and Salesforce services are delivered within a governance and compliance‑led environment. This is a hybrid role based in London, with an expectation of 2 days per week in the office.

What you’ll be doing

What you’ll bring

• Strong DevOps engineering experience within complex enterprise or highly regulated environments.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Strong AWS cloud engineering expertise and experience managing cloud‑hosted environments.
• Experience supporting Salesforce delivery programmes, including release management, deployment tooling and environment strategies.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices including security automation, compliance controls, policy enforcement and vulnerability management.
• Experience with scripting, Git source control, automated deployments and platform performance optimisation.

It would be great if you had

• Salesforce certifications.
• AWS certifications.
• Experience within Financial Services or other highly regulated sectors.
• ITIL qualifications or experience.
