Job summary

Sopra Steria Limited in London seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer - Salesforce to design, automate and operate secure cloud platforms supporting Salesforce and AWS environments. Hybrid role with 2 days in the office weekly, reporting to internal teams and security/compliance governance.

Salary ranges between £40,000 and £60,000 per annum and includes a benefits package. You will drive automation, implement secure-by-design practices and contribute to platform observability and operational resilience

Qualifications

• Strong DevOps engineering experience in complex enterprise or regulated environments.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation and IaC.
• Strong AWS cloud engineering expertise and managing cloud-hosted environments.
• Experience supporting Salesforce delivery programmes, including release management and deployment tooling.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, including security automation and vulnerability management.
• Experience with scripting, Git, automated deployments and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines across Salesforce and AWS platforms.
• Driving automation through Infrastructure as Code, deployment tooling and reusable engineering patterns.
• Supporting the availability, performance, resilience and operational stability of Salesforce-based services across development, test and production environments.
• Embedding security controls, automated compliance validation, vulnerability management and secure-by-design principles throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Implementing monitoring, logging and alerting solutions to improve observability, incident response and operational insight.
• Supporting incident, problem and change management activities while continuously improving DevOps maturity and platform capabilities.
